Migrating from Zoho Mail
Understand the source before setting a cutover date.
Zoho Mail can be used as a standalone email service or as part of Zoho Workplace and a wider collection of business applications. A mailbox migration focuses on eligible messages and folders; it does not automatically reproduce Streams, WorkDrive, CRM connections or every organization policy.
The available migration method depends on the Zoho plan, source settings and administrator access. Envelaro confirms whether compatible IMAP or another approved access path is available, then records mailbox size, aliases, groups, forwarding rules and any calendar or contact requirements.
Existing Zoho service should remain active through the initial copy and destination validation. After an approved MX cutover, the team verifies delivery and user access, completes the agreed final synchronization and only then plans subscription or account closeout.

Streams, WorkDrive and connected Zoho services are outside a basic email-data transfer.
Retain the source until sign-off
Do not remove licences before recent mail, folders, routing and user access have been checked.

The old provider continues operating while Envelaro prepares the destination and runs the agreed initial data copy. The administrator approves DNS changes only after destination mailboxes and user access are ready. Inbound and outbound delivery are then tested before the source service is retired.
Completion criteria: A completed Zoho Mail migration gives approved users access to their Envelaro mailboxes, preserves eligible messages and folders within the agreed scope and confirms that new mail no longer depends on Zoho MX records. The administrator should have explicit decisions for aliases, groups, calendars, contacts, Streams, WorkDrive and connected applications. Zoho accounts remain available until final synchronization, validation and any required export or retention work are complete.
