Migrating from cPanel
Understand the source before setting a cutover date.
Email bundled with cPanel is often tied to a web-hosting account, but the website and the mailboxes do not have to move together. Envelaro first identifies where DNS is hosted, which cPanel server currently receives mail and whether each mailbox is accessible through compatible IMAP credentials.
Mailbox messages and folders are only part of the inventory. Forwarders, aliases, autoresponders, catch-all behavior and application senders may be configured separately in cPanel. They must be recorded and deliberately recreated or retired rather than assumed to move with the mailbox data.
The website's A, AAAA, CNAME and verification records remain separate from the email cutover. MX and related authentication records change only after destination mailboxes are ready and the administrator has approved the routing plan.

The old provider continues operating while Envelaro prepares the destination and runs the agreed initial data copy. The administrator approves DNS changes only after destination mailboxes and user access are ready. Inbound and outbound delivery are then tested before the source service is retired.
Completion criteria: A completed cPanel migration leaves the website and non-mail DNS records unchanged, gives every approved user working access to the destination mailbox, preserves the eligible historical folders agreed in scope and routes new mail through Envelaro. The administrator should also know which cPanel forwarders or application senders were recreated, replaced or deliberately retired. Source hosting remains available until those results and the final synchronization have been signed off.
